Brittany Welsh brings a healthcare-operations mindset to clean energy. before stepping into her role as coo at welsh global energy, she built a career designing and running high-reliability systems in healthcare-credentialing, medical staff services, payer enrollment, and revenue cycle-where she became known for turning complexity into clear, accountable workflows and results. She now brings that same rigor to EV infrastructure: aligning site development, utility coordination, permitting, vendor management, and customer experience so projects move from idea to energized, on schedule.

For Brittany, WGE is more than infrastructure-it’s access. She champions charging in underserved neighborhoods as a lever for economic mobility, small-business vitality, and a greener, more resilient Chicago. A vocal advocate for women in technology and operations, she mentors emerging talent and builds diverse, apprenticeship-friendly teams that reflect the communities WGE serves.

Beyond WGE, Brittany leads Bijou Health, a national medical billing and consulting firm, which keeps her close to the operational best practices that define her career and leadership style.
